My Writing Journey...

Time, Time, Time

As early as eight years old, I wanted to be a writer. Fate, the market, a crazy guidance counselor and I fought my way to becoming an attorney. After 20 years, I looked around and said, “Crap. I’m not a writer.”

Screw It

I looked into getting an agent and figured, “Well, in the meanwhile, I might as well publish some of these hundreds of stories….” So, I started to self-publish. I started with a novel. Then added books to accompany my workshops.

Today

After my copyrighting and content projects, I work on my stories daily. Occasionally, I submit to mags…no bites yet. But I’m still a writer. I’ve always been a writer. Sure, much of it was copy and briefs…but I do what I love every day. And I’m still reaching for that meeting with an agent.
